Today I have another pretty piece of home decor that is so easy to make – a set of Valentine’s Day mason jar bouquets filled with doily flowers. I love mason jar crafts and the combination of the iconic jars with burlap hearts and doilies from Oriental Trading creates a pretty vintage look, while the colorful doilies give it a modern color palette.
Fill the LOVE jars with simple doily flowers and you have a DIY centerpiece that will look great for Valentine’s Day or all year long! These jars use just a few materials from Oriental Trading – burlap hearts, mini paper doilies, and wood letters:
Doily flowers might just be the simplest paper flowers to make. All you need is a few doilies and a piece of floral wire. I have used this technique before to make flowers and love it! You can find the tutorial here.
A set of four jars that spells out “love” is a pretty piece of decor to put on your mantel, kitchen counter, or to use as a table centerpiece. You could also skip the letters and make individual bouquets to give as sweet little gifts.
