Make a Floral Tropical Wreath

DIY Floral Tropical Wreath

Introducing my DIY tropical wreath. What better way to celebrate the first day of summer? I love switching up the wreaths on our front door for different seasons throughout the year, and I think summer deserves a wreath just as much as the fall or Christmas time!

I made this wreath with some pretty faux flowers from Oriental Trading. The colorful hibiscus and white plumeria remind me of our trip to Hawaii over Christmas…. I’m dying to go back! In addition to bringing a little bit of the tropics to your front door, this wreath would be a fun decoration for a luau or pool party too.

How pretty are these flowers? I love finding ways crafting with faux flowers and this project used flowers from a pretty plumeria garland and some of these faux hibiscus flowers as well. The two flowers combined together make a lush, full wreath.

All you need is a foam wreath form, some ribbon to wrap it with, and a hot glue gun to stick on the flowers. My favorite type of easy wreath project!
