DIY Patriotic Pinwheel Wreath

June 17, 2016 | FILED UNDER: 4th of July
I always say if there is one thing you make for a holiday, make it a wreath! I think this is particularly true for the 4th of July – what better way to show your pride for the USA than with a stars and stripes studded wreath on the front door? I have displayed this fireworks wreath on our door for the last few years and decided it was time to update it with this DIY patriotic wreath using pinwheels and stars from Oriental Trading. Such an impact with a few simple supplies!

The wreath came together in under an hour and was as simple as poking the pinwheels into the wreath form and filling in the gaps with the metallic stars. The pack of pinwheels comes with more than enough to cover the wreath. I plan to use the extras to line our front yard on the 4th of July!
Head to Oriental Trading’s blog for the full list of supplies and step-by-step tutorial for the patriotic pinwheel wreath!
