Simple and Elegant Thanksgiving Table Idea

We’re hosting my mom for Thanksgiving this year, and I couldn’t be more excited. I’m already imaging the time we’ll spend together in the kitchen prepping the same dishes, casseroles, and pumpkin pie recipe that we’ve enjoyed as a family for so many years. I love the preparation just as much as the actual meal, and part of the preparation for me as always been coming up with a special way to decorate our Thanksgiving table.

In years past that typically involves me running around the house pulling something together last minute, but this year I’m a step ahead, thanks to some simple ideas I came up with for Oriental Trading. For this pretty table I incorporated several inexpensive items in unexpected ways. Paper doilies are used to make a table runner, feathers serve as place cards, and napkins are transformed into a bouquet of flowers!
