Hi Sandra, it was actually a 12″ wood craft ring like this: https://www.michaels.com/floral-ring-by-ashland/10336452.html. However a foam wreath would also work well. I wouldn’t recommend metal as there is not enough surface area for the pinecones to stick to.

Hi Deb, Thanks for your comment! We actually didn’t put any stain on our cabinets to give them a weathered look. It is just the Sherwin Williams Thunderous paint and a clear sealant. It may just have something to do with how the photo was taken. I really do recommend trying a sample of the Thunderous paint if you like the look!

However the other picture looked like you painted the cabinet and then put brown stain over it to give it a weathered look. I was wondering if you did use a stain, what color stain was it. I’m looking to use a moss color & making it look weathered but don’t know what color paint or stain. Any ideas? Thanks

I have the same hummingbird feeder you have! I love it. It’s hung outside of our kitchen window and we get to enjoy hummingbirds flitting around it on and off all day.

I found a recipe on the Smithsonian website that includes the same ratio of sugar to water but you don’t have to boil it – just whisk it together for about three minutes and it’s ready to go!

Hi Carrie, oh I wish I could be more helpful but both my desk and rug are so old they don’t make them anymore. I bought the rug over 10 years ago from CB2. The desk was part of the Martha Stewart Craft Furniture sold through Home Decorators Collection (which is no longer in business). Such a bummer!
